Lavor Fine Punch Needle Set

£13.00

Punch needle tool with 3 interchangeable needle tips.

Comes with 3 needle tips of different thicknesses ( 2,0 / 2,5 / 3,0 mm ) and an aluminium threader. Different needle thicknesses allow you to work with a variety of yarn types.

2.0 needle tip is great for super thin yarns such as lace weight yarns - 1-3 ply.

Recommended fabric - tightly woven cotton or linen

2,5 needle is best suited for sport weight (or light DK) yarns - 4-5 ply.

Recommended fabric - linen and monks cloth

3,0 needle is perfect for double knitting (DK) and aran weight yarns - 8-10 ply.

Recommended fabric - monks cloth

This set is ideal for beginners because of its versatile needle thickness, letting you experiment with a variety of yarns and fabrics. The needle tips are also adjustable in height, so you can easily create loops at different lengths.

Important note:

If you use the wrong yarn—even if you can thread it—it won’t work properly for punch needling. Yarn that’s too thick will get stuck in the needle, preventing loops from forming on the fabric. Yarn that’s too thin won’t stay in place, and the loops will pull out because it doesn’t fully fill the holes made by the needle.
